  • Proficient in creating site architecture, wireframe concepts, graphic design, and front-end development
  • Expert cross-browser HTML/CSS authoring
  • In depth knowledge of new media design, social networks, and mobile technology
  • Versed in Microsoft, Apple, and Adobe design software as well as LAMP and .Net development environments

Experience

My professional experience includes work for interactive agencies as a designer and front-end developer, and for the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design as an educator.

I’ve had the opportunity to create projects—large and small—for national and regional brands including Briggs & Stratton, Colgate-Palmolive, and Boston Store, and for local businesses such as the Women’s Fund of Greater Milwaukee and Groom for Men hair salon.

My work has received attention from CSS Beauty, CSS Mania, Smashing Magazine, and Campaign Monitor Blog. My projects have also been featured on the Smithsonian Institute website and in TimeOut New York magazine.

Background

I am fortunate that my professional work experience began at the New York Public Library where I had the opportunity to learn from Jeffery Zeldman. Often cited as the central figure in modern web design, Zeldman’s Designing with Web Standards and related concepts have continued to be a subject of constant study and insatiable interest.
